Mushrooms & Mycology in Africa

A talk by Darren Le Baron
Director, Ancient Future

Are you interested to know how mushrooms have been used for thousands of years on the African continent?

Although not often recognized by researchers and scientists, fungi have been used by indigenous people of Africa for spiritual and community development for millennia. Several communities use fungi in their rites of passage, initiation ceremonies and daily ritual.

Darren Springer will share his knowledge and experience through the lenses of ancient history and mythology.
