A Trauma-Informed, Harm Reduction Focused Psychedelic Use Model

A talk by Mohawk Greene, Emma Kaywin and Britta Love

What does trauma-informed psychedelic use look like? What can we learn from sex-positive communities about building and honoring consent in psychedelic spaces?

Grounded in an understanding of personal and collective trauma and harm reduction principles, this workshop will lead participants through the various stages of psychedelic use, from planning to aftercare, and will discuss evidence-based practices and relevant tools that can be employed at each stage to uphold personal and community consent. Participants will be invited to explore building and practicing consent through interactive exercises (participation in the interactive portion entirely optional).
