About Thomas

Thomas Hatsis is a public speaker and psychedelic historian. The author of three books in psychedelia: The Witches Ointment: The Secret History of Psychedelic Magic; Psychedelic Mystery Traditions: Spirit Plants, Magical Practices, Ecstatic States; and Microdosing Magic: A Psychedelic Spellbook, he also has three published articles in PsyPress U.K. and one in the Journal of Psychedelic Studies. Forthcoming books include Contra: The Sacred Mushroom Question; Wonder Child: LSD and the Phantastic Fifties; and Psychedelic Witch: Deeper Secrets of Entheogenic Occultism (co-author with Eden Woodruff). Along with Woodruff, Hatsis runs Psanctum Psychedelia, a psychedelic harm reduction and education group, and organizes the Gaian Mind Psychedelic Conference in Portland, Oregon.
