Rae Voisin is an artist and psychedelic mama hailing from the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago. Ever since her introduction to psychedelics almost four (4) years ago she has been fascinated by power plants and how her community could benefit from building meaningful relationships with them. During one of her inner journeys with psilocybin, she came to the realisation that working with psychotropic mushrooms was how she could be of the greatest service to herself and to the collective. Since then, she has been slowly but eagerly crafting how her activism would look through the advocacy for the intentional use of high dose psilocybin by people of colour. From utilising psilocybin to prepare for giving birth to looking for ways to address the socio-cultural aspect of psilocybin through academia, Rae continues to do the work that she believes the mushrooms have tasked her with. Rae knows that mushrooms are here to help us heal and she continues to be a proud proponent of the idea that ‘the future is fungi’!
